Work Session on I-81 Interchange

The Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors will meet in October to discuss extending water and sewer lines to the Interstate 81 interchange at Route 60.
Rockbridge County Supervisor Ronnie Campbell says the board will meet for a work session on Tuesday, October 8 to discuss an engineering report on extending water and sewer service to the Poplar Hill area, in an effort to attract businesses to that I-81 interchange at mile marker 188.
Campbell says they need to get information on the cost to extend utilities before they attempt to purchase any property. He says the board needs to find out what the cost might be to extend natural gas lines to that I-81 interchange.
