State Fair Attendance Up

Attendance increased at the State Fair of Virginia this year.
This was the first year that the fair was run completely by the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation.
Federation spokesman Greg Hicks says the 10-day fair attracted 229,000 people, up from 160,000 a year ago, a 40% increase.
