Lynchburg City Council on Tuesday agreed to borrow $10 million to help pay for various improvements, including roof work and road improvements.
Council also continues to make plans for building a new Heritage High School. School officials hope to break ground on the new school in 2014.
Lynchburg City Council on Tuesday also approved a new master plan for Odd Fellows Road and Campbell Avenue, which would reduce traffic on Campbell eventually to two lanes.
Council also approved a telecommunications tower for Milestone Communications on Lakeside Drive near Jefferson Ridge Parkway.
