Tuition at VMI will increase 2.9
percent to $7,080 for Virginia cadets and 4.5 percent to $28,068 for
out-of-state cadets for the academic year beginning in August.
The VMI Board of Visitors approved the
tuition and fee increases for the next academic year at its meeting on Saturday.
Total cost of attendance, including tuition, fees, and room and board, for
in-state cadets will increase 4.3 percent to $22,492. For out-of-state cadets,
the total cost will increase 4.7 percent to $43,480. The increases reflect
rising program costs.
