Buena Vista City Council approved the city’s fiscal 2014 budget on Thursday on first reading.
City Council-member Steve Baldridge says
council is looking at going with a real estate tax rate of $1.07 per 100
dollars of assessed value. He says the personal property tax rate and the water rate would remain the same while the sewer rate would rise by a couple of dollars.
Baldridge says council hopes to
give final approval to the fiscal '14 budget on Thursday, May 16.
