The Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run in Augusta County.
A moped rider died after he was hit from behind by a vehicle on Mount Torrey Road.
Tuesday’s accident claimed the life of 47-year-old Keith Cox of Stuarts Draft.
Cox, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was wearing a helmet.
The Virginia State Police say a witness was unable to provide much information about the vehicle that struck Cox.
