Officials with the National Weather Service say watch out for showers and isolated
thunderstorms on Wednesday.
Wednesday’s thunderstorms could produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall in
the afternoon and evening hours.
Meteorologists say there will be a secondary threat of streams and creeks flooding
due to runoff.
Colder weather returns on Thursday with a chance of flurries. The National
Weather Service says any moisture should be confined to the mountains with the
potential for snow showers and flurries mainly west of the Blue Ridge.
