Ferrum College was the scene for a campus lockdown early
Friday after two attempted robberies of students, one of which may have involved
a gun.
The first alert was issued just after 10:20 Thursday night after an attempted robbery near Riddick Hall. Another robbery was reported about an hour later, resulting in the lockdown.
Authorities say anyone observing suspicious behavior can contact the Ferrum Police at 365-4444.
