Paving will take place on Route 60
at Route 11 in the Lexington area in Rockbridge County Nov. 14 to Nov. 16 from
7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Motorists should expect single lane traffic in the work
zone with flagger traffic control. All work is weather permitting.
A portion of Route 130 (Wert
Faulkner Highway) in the Glasgow area of Rockbridge County will close for
railroad crossing work. The closure will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 28.
Motorists are asked to avoid this
area during this time. For travelers unfamiliar with the area, VDOT crews will
be stationed at the work zone to assist with alternate routes. The work zone
extends from 0.37-mile south of Route 501 (Glasgow Highway) to 0.10-mile north
of Route 684 (Sallings Mountain Road).
