Theater at Lime Kiln’s board of directors voted
Friday to continue to work to try to keep the theater operating. Executive
director Tony Russell had recommended closing the theater after an event this
past Saturday.
Lime Kiln board members hope to give the Rockbridge County Supervisors and Lexington City Council more time to deal with a funding request for Lime Kiln.
Board members are talking about going with a scaled back list of theater improvements, to allow for a limited schedule in 2013.
