Lynchburg Police say a body discovered on Wednesday in a wooded area near Concord Turnpike and Route 460 is 18-year-old Jamisha Gilbert who went missing last Friday.
The body was identified by the Roanoke Medical Examiner’s Office.
Gilbert's car was
found last Friday on Concord Turnpike.
Gilbert was reported missing by her family on Sunday.
