The Virginia State Police say 11 people were killed in
traffic crashes in the state over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Eight of those who died were not wearing seat belts.
Alcohol was a factor in at least four of the fatal
accidents.
Last year, 14 people died in Virginia traffic accidents
over the Thanksgiving weekend.
