Republican Mark Obenshain says he will seek a recount of the attorney
general’s race in which Democrat Mark Herring was certified the winner by 165
votes out of more than 2.2 million votes cast.
The recount request from Obenshain came one day after the Virginia
State Board of Elections certified Herring the winner in the attorney general’s
race.
