Search Sunday in Nelson County

Search crews searched Nelson County on Sunday for missing teenager Alexis Murphy, who was last seen on August 3.
Investigators with the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office say the search was conducted in a few areas that had been searched previously, including property belonging to a Lovingston man, Randy Allen Taylor, who was recently indicted by a grand jury on one count of abduction in the disappearance of the 17-year-old Murphy.
Murphy was seen last at a gas station in Lovingston. Her car was found three days later in a movie theater parking lot in Charlottesville.
