The Superintendent of Roanoke City Schools, Rita Bishop has been named Superintendent of the Year by the Virginia Association of School Superintendents.
Bishop is in the running for the
national Superintendent of the Year award, which will be announced in
Nashville, Tennessee, in February 2014.
Rockbridge County School Superintendent John Reynolds was honored recently in the region, by being named Region 5 Superintendent of the Year.
