The Campbell County supervisors voted 6-0 on Tuesday to send the county’s proposed
$140 million budget to a public hearing on May 7.
The budget features no tax increases and no cuts in staff.
The personal property tax rate will remain at $4.45 per $100 of assessed
value while the real estate tax rate will stay at 53 cents per $100 of assessed
value.
Employees would receive a 3 percent raise, starting July 1.
