New Company for Peaks of Otter

The National Park Service has picked out a company to operate the Peaks of Otter Lodge on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Bedford County.
The NPS selected the new company to re-open the lodge and restaurant for the next decade through a concessions contract
After a contract with the former operator expired last November, the lodge shut down operations, resulting in the loss of approximately 40 jobs.
