Lee-Jackson Day was marked Saturday in Lexington.
Featured activities included a parade from the Stonewall
Jackson Cemetery to Lee Chapel.
There were also educational seminars and a ball at the
Virginia Horse Center.
Confederate flags were also prominently displayed on Friday and
Saturday in downtown Lexington, in the wake of city council’s decision not to fly
the Confederate flag from city flagpoles.
