Meeting on Bedford's Reversion Plan

The city of Bedford and Bedford County officials on Tuesday will present a town reversion plan to a three-judge panel. The panel is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Bedford County Courthouse on East Main St. in Bedford.
If the three-judge panel approves the plan, Bedford would revert to a town system of government next July.
The reversion plan already has the backing of the Virginia Commission on Local Government, Bedford City Council and the Bedford County Board of Supervisors.
