Dr. John Keeler has been named the new superintendent of the Buena Vista school division.
Keeler, who has nearly three decades experience in education, is currently serving as assistant superintendent of Mecklenburg County Schools.
Keeler will officially take over as Buena Vista’s new school superintendent next July 1.
