Rockbridge County defeated Parry McCluer Thursday night in high school basketball action 58-52 in Rockbridge County's opener.
Andrew Rowsey led the Wildcats with 37 points.
Sam Armstrong scored 15 for the Fighting Blues, who dropped to 0-2 on the season.
