Rockbridge County quarterback Porter Abel established a new RCHS single season rushing yardage record in Rockbridge County's playoff win over Liberty on Friday.
Abel now has 1,664 rushing yards for the season.
Abel broke the old record of 1,575 rushing yards in a season held by Bruce Cooper.
