Dolores Kostelni, host of HCS, died Thursday

Dolores Kostelni, host of the Happy Cook Show on WREL, passed away on Thursday.
Kostelni, who was 75, died at the UVA Medical Center as a result of injuries after being hit by a vehicle while she was attempting to cross a street in Albemarle County. The incident occurred near the intersection of Putt Putt Place and East Rio Road on Tuesday. The driver of the vehicle was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian.
Besides being the host of the HCS on AM-1450, Dolores Kostelni also reviewed restaurants for the Roanoke Times and authored several cookbooks.
