The United Way
of Rockbridge will hold its annual Board of Directors meeting February 8th
at 3:30 pm at the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, Lexington.
The meeting is open to anyone in the community and all are invited and
encouraged to attend.
The Board of Directors will announce at the meeting the official results of the 2011-2012 Campaign and recognize business supporters, volunteers, retiring Board members, and United Way agencies for all their hard work over the past year.
At last report, UWR has received approximately $229,000 in pledges and donations – nearly 92% of its goal of $250,000. Individual contributions may be mailed to the United Way at P.O. Box 1094, Lexington, VA 24450.
