A fire Tuesday in Rockbridge
County heavily damaged a home on Route
501 and Apollo Lane between Glasgow and Buena Vista.
The fire was reported Tuesday around 2 p.m. No one was home during the
fire and no injuries were reported. The house was declared a total loss.
A mother and daughter who had been living in the home are now being
assisted by the Red Cross.
The cause of Tuesday's blaze remains under investigation.
