Heavy traffic Sunday on I-81, as travelers returned home from the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. No major accidents were reported but there was an accident earlier Monday morning on I-81 in Botetourt County, at mile marker 167 northbound that closed one lane of traffic.
The Virginia State Police are advising motorists to drive with caution, as some travelers will be on the road, taking an extra day to return home.
