Rockbridge Christmas Basket Program

Organizers of the Rockbridge Christmas Basket program say applications are being accepted for the program, which provides a basket of food and a gift for a child.

The Rockbridge Area Relief Association Food Pantry, the Department of Social Services and the Rockbridge Area Free Clinic are taking applications through November 30.

Last year, the program helped more than 1,000 families, by providing approximately 1,750 baskets of food and 516 bags of toys.

Those looking to make a financial donation to support the program can mail their donation to P.O. Box 1030, Lexington, VA 24450.
The packing of the baskets will take place Saturday, December 17.
