Lexington Council

Lexington City Council will hold a work session Thursday night at 7 o’clock to discuss the city’s check-valve installation program.
Council’s regular meeting starts Thursday at 8 p.m. as council holds several public hearings, including a hearing on the proposed subdivision of 5 and a half acres of city property on Enfield Road and another hearing on an ordinance that would grant an easement to the Maury Service Authority to install water lines on various roads for the Water Loop project.
Council will also discuss a request from the Community Table to utilize the old Rescue Squad Building.
City Council will also meet for a work session the following Thursday, October 27, to take another look at the issue of flying banners and flags from city poles in and around the downtown area.
