Heritage High School

The Lynchburg City School Board on Tuesday decided to search for an architect to help establish a firm plan for the future for Heritage High School, whether that would involve a new school on or off site or a mostly new school that would incorporate part of the current building.
Expectations are that a new school could cost between $49 million and $60 million while the combination of renovating and new construction could cost between $35 million and $40 million
School board members will discuss the Heritage High School issue again at a 2 day school board retreat beginning October 21.
