Governmental Jobs

Lexington officials say they have received more than 20 applications for the position of Director of Public Works. A special panel hopes to begin interviewing candidates in the next week or so.
Meanwhile, Lexington’s Director of Planning and Development, Bill Blatter, has also notified city officials of his plans to retire effective March 30, 2012.
Local government officials also plan to re-advertise the job of Director of the Regional Emergency Communications Center, after the person selected for the position recently decided not to take the position.
