Triple-A officials say the season of night driving begins next Sunday, November 6th as daylight saving time ends and clocks are turned back an hour.
Triple-A officials say it’ll be getting darker earlier and drivers need to be aware of the special hazards associated with increased night driving, since traffic death rates are three times greater at night than during the day.
The Triple-A advises motorists to keep all lights and windows clean inside and out and make sure headlights are properly aimed. Triple-A officials also recommend reducing your speed, increasing your following distance, and keep your headlights on low beam so other drivers are not blinded.
