Public Hearing in Lexington

Lexington City Council will hold a public hearing Thursday at 8 p.m. in the country administration building on an ordinance regulating the display of flags on poles in the downtown area and along the Veterans Memorial Bridge.
The ordinance would restrict the flags that can be flown to the American, Virginia and city flag. Individuals can still carry other flags in public or display other flags on private property.
