An incident involving a tractor-trailer hauling wood blocked Route 60 in both directions Friday morning near Route 631, Mount Pleasant Road, in Amherst County.
Emergency response crews, including Virginia State Police and the Virginia Department of Transportation are on the scene. The road is closed during the clean up effort and there is no detour in place. Motorists should seek alternate routes.
