Matt Wheeler, Parry McCluer’s recently appointed head football coach, is now facing felony charges in Louisiana for allegedly taking part in an Internet bulletin board site with links to child pornography.
Wheeler was arrested by Homeland Security agents and may stand trial in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Federal authorities allege that Wheeler was a member of Dreamboard, an
Internet bulletin board site where contributors posted links to images of child pornography.
Meanwhile, Mike Craft has been named interim head football coach at
Parry McCluer High School. Buena Vista school officials have also advertised the position of head football coach on the school division's website.
