A Flood Watch is in effect for several counties until noon on
Monday, including Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Buckingham and Campbell.
Officials with the National Weather
Service say flooding could occur along small streams and creeks and in low
lying areas.
River
flooding is also likely mainly along the Dan River and the lower Roanoke River.
