A member of the Rockbridge County
Supervisors, David Hinty, from the Natural Bridge district, was arrested
earlier this month and charged with misdemeanor domestic assault.
Hinty was charged with the misdemeanor
following an incident November 16.
Hinty’s four-year term on the Rockbridge
County Board of Supervisors runs through 2015.
