Democrat Mark Herring now leads Republican Mark
Obenshain in the Attorney General’s race by 117 votes out of 2 million votes
that were cast last Tuesday.
The vote change occurred when the numbers in four
Richmond precincts were updated.
Charles Judd, chairman of the Virginia State Board
of Elections, says the attorney general race may be the closest contest in the
state's recent history.
