Herring Declares Victory

Democrat Mark Herring has declared victory in the close race for attorney general.
At last report, the State Board of Elections had Herring leading Republican Mark Obenshain by 106 votes.
A recount appears likely.
If Herring prevails, Democrats next January would hold all five of Virginia's statewide offices -- two U.S. Senate seats, governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general -- for the first time since 1969.
