The Bedford County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday approved
$2.4 million in funding for building a new electrical substation in the New
London Business and Technology Center.
The new substation could attract new businesses to the
center.
The board on Tuesday also approved $1 million for the Bedford
County School Board to help pay for maintenance projects in the school
division.
