Nelson County Woman Indicted

A Nelson County woman, 58-year-old Linda Blackwell, is facing murder and arson charges in connection with a fatal 2009 house fire. 
Blackwell was indicted by a special grand jury in Nelson County on charges of felony murder, arson and obtaining money by false pretenses, in connection with the house fire that claimed the life of James Shelton Sr.
Blackwell is being held without bond in the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
