A Rockbridge County High School student, Kellie Nicely, is hoping to win the national Doodle 4 Google contest.
Nicely is one of 50 finalists headed to New York for the competition.
If
Nicely wins the national contest, she’ll get a $30,000
college scholarship. RCHS would receive a $50,000 technology grant.
Nicely
used the joy of reading as the main theme for her design, which involved books,
with objects flying out from the books.
