VMI Grad Wounded

An officer with the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority who was shot and wounded by suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing is a VMI grad.
The wounded officer, Richard Donohue, graduated from VMI in 2002.
Donohue was apparently wounded by the bombing suspects after a high-speed chase, following the fatal shooting an MIT campus police officer. The officer was shot and killed after responding to reports that the bombing suspects robbed a convenience store.
