Commencement Ceremonies in Lynchburg Area
Several colleges and universities in the Lynchburg area will be holding commencement exercises over the next few weeks.
Virginia University of Lynchburg’s commencement ceremony will be held Saturday, May 4 at 11 a.m. in the Humbles Hall Auditorium.
Central Virginia Community College will hold its commencement ceremony Thursday, May 9 at 7 p.m. in Liberty University’s Vines Center.
Then, on Saturday, May 11, Liberty University’s 40th commencement ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at Williams Stadium. Liberty graduate Shannon Bream, a reporter for Fox News, will be the keynote speaker.
Additional commencement ceremonies will be held Sunday, May 12 at 10 a.m. by Randolph College, with Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling serving as the commencement speaker.
Lynchburg College’s commencement ceremony is set for Saturday, May 18 at 10 a.m. on the lawn in front of Hopwood Hall. Also on the 18th, Sweet Briar College’s commencement ceremony will take place starting at 10 a.m. on the upper quad lawn.
