Christopher Speight, charged with killing eight people at his Appomattox home in 2010, has been sentenced to five life terms.
Speight pleaded guilty Friday in
Appomattox County Circuit Court.
Speight, who is not eligible for parole, pleaded guilty to nine charges, including three counts of capital murder, one count of attempted
capital murder, and several firearm charges.
