RCHS falls to William Byrd

In boys high school basketball action on Tuesday, William Byrd defeated Rockbridge County 85-55 in the Blue Ridge District semifinals.
Rockbridge County’s Andrew Rowsey had 34 points for the Wildcats in a losing cause. Rowsey now has a career points total of 2,567, 120 behind the all-time VHSL points leader Stacy Ervin of Twin Springs.
With the loss, Rockbridge County now gears up for regional play next week.
