The Lexington Police have started to issue tickets for new parking restrictions on Washington Street, as part of the East Nelson Street Bridge project.
In preparation for the bridge work, parking spaces were removed on the west side of Washington Street, since traffic will be detoured from Nelson to Washington while the new bridge is being built.
