House Fire in Stewartsville

The Red Cross is now assisting a family of eight in Bedford County after a house fire late Tuesday.
The fire heavily damaged the family’s home on Sharp Turn Road off of Route 24, near Stewartsville.  Firefighters got the call for the fire around 11 p.m. Tuesday and spent several hours battling the blaze.
