A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 6 p.m. for several
counties in the region.
Those counties include Alleghany, Bath, Craig and Roanoke.
Officials with the National Weather Service say those
counties could be hit with 2 to 3 inches of rain, with locally higher amounts
possible for areas along and west of the Blue Ridge.
