Wildcats Lose Thriller

Rockbridge County lost an overtime thriller Tuesday in the Group AA Division 3 semifinals, falling to Brunswick 64-59 at VCU's Siegel Center.
The Wildcats fell behind 21-4 at the end of the opening quarter but battled back to force overtime at 56-56.
The Cats took the lead in the overtime period 59-58 but Brunswick scored the game’s final six points to claim the victory.
Rockbridge County’s Andrew Rowsey led the Wildcats with 34 points. Javon Cress added 13.
The Wildcats finished their best season ever with a final record of 25-3.
