The Rockbridge County Wildcats boys basketball team won its
state quarterfinal game Saturday, defeating Abingdon 77-49 to clinch the
Wildcats’ first-ever berth in the state semifinals.
The Wildcats will play Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the Siegel Center
at VCU in Richmond.

Parry McCluer lost its state quarterfinal game to Hurley 57-49, ending the Fighting Blues season.
